We’re a small outfit chasing dust and stories, not chasing your wallet. Most of what we offer is free: maps, words, coordinates. When money changes hands, it’s for prints, digital packs, or the rare paid route. Here’s the plain deal on getting it back. Last updated November 2025.

Free Content
Everything public on the site costs nothing and stays that way. No refunds for time spent reading or zooming, only for the stuff you actually pay for.

Digital Downloads
Buy a high-res map layer or a photo pack, you get instant access. If the file’s corrupted or the link dies within 48 hours, ping us and we’ll fix or refund, full amount, no fuss. After that window, we assume you’ve saved it somewhere safe. Refunds only if we can’t deliver what was promised.

Physical Prints
Order a print, we ship from a partner printer in the States. You have 14 days from delivery to decide it’s not for you. Return it unworn, unframed, in the original tube, and we’ll refund the print cost minus shipping both ways. We eat the loss if the print arrives damaged; send a photo and a new one’s on us or money back, your call.

Paid Subscriptions or Route Access
Rare, but if we gate a premium trail or live map behind a paywall, you can cancel anytime. Refund covers the unused portion, prorated to the day. No partial months, just clean math. First payment is non-refundable if you’ve already downloaded the goods.

Non-Refundable Items
Shipping fees never come back. Custom work, like a bespoke map pin or commissioned photo route, is final once we start the work. Event tickets, if we ever host a ruin walk, follow the event’s own rules posted at purchase.

How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with your order number and the word REFUND in the subject. Tell us what went wrong or why you changed your mind. We reply within 48 hours, usually faster if we’re not in a dead zone. Money returns the same way it came, within 7 business days of approval.

Exceptions and Common Sense
If you bought something by mistake, like clicking twice, let us know quick and we’ll void the extra. Fraudulent claims or abuse of the policy gets you blocked, no appeal. Acts of nature, like a server melt or a postal strike, pause the clock until things normalize.

Policy Changes
We tweak this only if costs or laws shift. Active orders follow the rules at the time of purchase. New version gets a date stamp up top.
